El dueño de este loro murió y fue abandonado por los parientes del mismo. El loro acabo en el refugio, y por el stress de haber perdido a su dueño, se arrancaba el mismo las plumas del cuerpo, una forma de automutilación.

Amarok 1.4 en windows

POR FIN he conseguido que amarok 1.4 funcione correctamente en windows!!!Y he encontrado una manera de exportar los ratings de amarok a otros programas.
The process to install amarok 1.4 on windows (thanks, bobby) is:
- Install andLinux in your computer as described here
- Reboot
- Right-click on the andLinux KDE icon in your windows system tray (near the windows clock) and choose “root-shell” execute in the shell
- echo -e “\n## amarok 1.4 \ndeb http://ppa.launchpad.net/bogdanb/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main\ndeb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/bogdanb/ppa/ubuntu jaunty main” | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list
- sudo apt-get update
- sudo apt-get install amarok14
- You now have amarok installed. For amarok to appear in the menu, go to your c - program files - andlinux - launcher directory and edit “menu.txt” by adding these lines at the end

- Amarok;amarok.ico;amarok
- you can now start amarok :D
sometimes xming crashes, which will bring down amarok with it. Just go to start menu - andLinux - autostart and select xming. then you can restart amarok from the KDE menu icon as usual.
AMAROK RATINGS EXPORT
amarok keeps all of its ratings in a database. its difficult to export them directly to your mp3 files, for use with another music player. my suggested workaround is pretty simple. select all of your files that have a given rating. for example, all your 5 star tracks, and create a playlist with them.
then right-click and select “edit track information” careful! everything you write here applies to all of your files. what I do now is edit the “tags” by adding a special tag for this rating. in my case, the tag was U_RATED_5
this way all of my 5 star rated tracks now have this tag. I follow the same procedure for other ratings so now I have all my tracks correctly tagged.
Once I start using my new music player (in my case, amarok for windows) I just have to create a smart playlist that selects all files with the tag U_RATED_5 and give these a 5 star rating. Same thing for other ratings. We now have all ratings for our songs in our new music player

I’m starting a story on horse shelters next week.
when horses / donkeys / mules can’t work anymore, many owners neglect them a decent retirement in a grassy field, instead opting for abandonment, starvation, etc. these shelters is where some of those unlucky animals get what their owners denied them.

….- Rotating sensor
- wanna take vertical pictures? have the sensor rotate to vertical!
- Voice notes
- when I’m doing a certain story, sometimes I take a picture of a subject, say for example a horse. If I need to note down its name, the name of the owner, and other details… well, having a notebook and matching notes to photographs is not much fun. How about having a voice memo recording feature? digital cameras can record videos now, so it wouldnt be so difficult to have the camera record a voice memo, and via a speech-to-text software, embedding my memo in the photographs metadata.
- GPS geolocation. If true camera wireless existed, you could also have a bluetooth gps… see below.
- Camera OS. How long before a camera with an OS just like iPhone OS for movie phones? a camera app store would be fantastic. It already is for the iPhone’s minicamera.
- Touchscreen. A big, huge touchscreen to remove a lot of dials. I think canon is already preparing something like this, but oh well.
- HDR true color sensors. I dont care about megapixels anymore. Above 17MP anything goes. So how long will it take for true HDR sensors with true color like foveon sensors, appear? They are right working on high ISOs, but true color HDR would be way cooler. Noone pays attention to the fact that all non-foveon sensors interpolate color.
- Oddly, a lot of compact cameras have many more software goodies than the big slrs. Face recognition, for instance.
- Greater color space. How about cameras with a true 16-bit prophoto color space with true color capturing abilities?
- True wireless communication

- From camera to camera, to copy sync settings between them. If you work with 2 camera bodies, you can imagine how useful this would be. Or to fire a second camera from a “main” camera.

- From camera to wireless flashes. Most wireless flashes have to communicate via light pulses, or infrared. Or expensive controllers like pocket wizards. Bleh. controlling them through camera software would be way cooler.
- From camera to computer. Wireless comm to computer to transmit files. Is it so hard to implement? I think not.
- Why doesnt any camera manufacturer implement a truly useful wireless standard? bluetooth, for instance, might be the way to go. Bluetooth flashes, cameras, etc…
Basically, what the digital camera world needs now is an iCamera from apple. Apple software products for mobile devices really changed the game in mobile phones when the iPhone appeared. Now we have android phones, samsung pseudo-iphone phones, etc. The digital camera market needs this kind of leap ahead as well.Perhaps if a powerful camera manufacturer partnered with apple…
